Individual retirement
A mini-retreat is a stay of at least 3 days where you complete your own program under the coaching of Ivar. This can take place based on meditation, mindfulness, tantra, or a combination, but always with Buddhist philosophy as a guiding principle.
Option 1: your own program
At Ekãyano, it is quiet and peaceful, and it is situated in a protected nature reserve. You can turn your stay into an individual retreat for a maximum of 2 people. You will then have a room to yourself and all the peace and quiet you desire. You can expand your experience by taking an individual course or receiving coaching and guidance at Ekãyano. We always conduct this based on the Buddhist Kum-nye philosophy.
We discuss your wishes in advance and create a program. Typically, we spend 3 hours together per day, and you work individually for the rest of the day, but this can always change. What can you do:
Individual course
Think of massage, tantra, reiki, or chios. The advantage of an individual course is that it can be tailored to your wishes, prior knowledge, and experience. In addition to practicing with and on each other, you will also receive individual assignments and exercises.
Coaching
Consider intimacy coaching or mental coaching from a mindfulness perspective. For physical overload or stress, a physical approach is most effective. For emotional stress, an emotional approach is best, and for mental stress, a mental approach is preferred. Our coaching is therefore fully tailored to the situation you find yourself in.
Individual trajectory
Perhaps you already know what you want to do and only need silence to do so, along with some guidance but without a fixed program. In that case, we facilitate that silence, space, sleeping accommodation, and your meals.
In the morning there is always a meditation and in the evening a satsang, and Ivar is never far away for a question or a conversation.
This individual retreat is suitable for a maximum of 2 people. You sleep in a spacious room or in a separate chalet (the Hidt) and receive 3 meals a day.
Option 2: a weekly program
You are welcome for a minimum of 6 nights, and you may choose your own start day. You will receive a room and all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), plus a program that is always offered by the Buddhist Kum-nye. You do have a choice regarding this:
Meditation and mindfulness
Upon arrival, there will be a moment to discuss a few things (this can also be done partly in advance via phone or WhatsApp). Depending on this conversation and your wishes, I will create a program and present it to you. In the morning, there is a meditation, and after breakfast, you will receive explanations and assignments for the rest of the day. We will meet more frequently throughout the day, and in the evening, we will discuss everything.
Tantra and/or body-oriented work
Upon arrival, there will be a moment to discuss a few things (this can also be done partly in advance via phone or WhatsApp). Depending on this conversation and your wishes, I will create a program and present it to you. Here too, there is a meditation in the morning, and you will receive several massage sessions. We will meet more frequently throughout the day, and in the evening, we will discuss everything.
Not everyone goes through the same program, because everyone is different with different needs and wishes. It is therefore individual and person-centered.

Enjoy the silence and tranquility. There is a meditation in the morning and a satsang in the evening; the rest of the day is entirely up to you. You can make use of the meditation hall and library, and lunch and dinner are available here. Enjoy the surroundings or take a beautiful day trip.
